Wade's B-day....

I am a little behind lately. We celebrated Wades 35th a couple weeks ago. Had the Eagar clan over for Sunday dinner and cake & ice cream. It was all delish. I made this Chocolate German Cake. To die for I tell you! Anyway here are a few pics from the evening.

1. Love that he is a worthy priesthood holder.
2. Love that he wants to be a healthy eater and likes to exercise.
3. Love that he knows how to work hard.
4. Love that he paid his own way through college.
5. Love that he loves & understands the "Isaiah" chapters when no one else does
6. Love that he will make his own whole wheat bread - when I wont.
7. Love that he likes the show "Office" as much as I do.
8. Love that he will do anything for his family or mine.
9. Love that he loves his family.
10. Love the smile on his face when he is thinking about something funny.
11. Love that he likes to watch and play sports - within reason.
12. Love that he has rough hands, just like my Dad.
13. Love that he has 6 siblings just like me.
14. Love that he speaks fluent Spanish.
15. Love that he loves Costco as much as I do.
16. Love that he thinks its important that I stay home with our kids.
17. Love that he's not above going with me to shovel manure and then helping me plant a garden.
18. Love that he can "cut-in" a very straight paint line.
19. Love that he goes to work every day, and rarely complains
20. Love that he likes to be outdoors, -one of our first dates was a early morning hike.
21. Love that he plays the piano.
22. Love that, secretly deep down he likes "chick flicks".
23. He knows how to fix most anything, and if he doesn't he will get on the phone on Internet and find out how.
24. I Love that he loves me- cause I am not sure anyone else could!
25. Love that he was his senior classes Prom King.

Oh sh*@%#%$*!!!!

So I just backed into the garage door:((((( Luckily I am quick on the brakes, and it didn't do too much damage. We even fit the rollers back in the track and it still goes up and down. And when its closed you can hardly tell. AND the damage to the Mazda is really not too noticeable.

But of course Wade had a freaking cow. And it was all my fault. Even though I was loading kids in the same time as he was, and I was heading to Walmart while he was heading to soccer practice. Somehow he still didn't get the message that I was leaving and he closed the door on me while I was backing up.

Actually now that the door has mostly survived and hopefully we wont really have to fix anything. Its kind of funny. I am sure Wade is over at soccer practice stewing up a storm though!! HeHe!!

Gavin ate a muffin, strawberries, chips, crackers & bagel, drank Gatorade and water, fell asleep for at least and hour and still had time to play in the water!
Garth slept a lot but loved splashing around in the water as well. Does that PFD look comfy or what?
Wade's one birthday request was to go to the lake. He got his wish. I even drove the boat most of the time so he could have a break. Boy is driving a pain in the butt. The water was a little choppy from the wind, but there really wasn't too many boats on the water. Oh... maybe that's cause we left home at 4am and were on the water at 6am!!

Why so hard?

Ok so I thought this Blogging thing would be super easy, but the moment I start one, I cant think of a thing to post about. I decided its because life is boring...well its not about to change so here are some things we did this week...


I taught 5 four year olds for 2 1/2 hours about the letter E. We talked about Elephants, Eggs & Ears. We learned about Enter & Exit signs. Their favorite activity was playing with silly putty (it comes in an egg shaped container-and it was raining outside!!)


Wade decided he didnt have enough to do...He signed up to help get signatures for a pettition drive to stop Apartment Housing near our house. The last couple weeks we have been bugging everyone we know to sign. Last night he hung out at the election lines to get signatures. He was freezing. We have about 150 signatures. We were hoping for 200. Let us know if you are a registered voter & live in PHX, you can sign!!

We also went to your communities HOA meeting. Both Jackie & I were there with all our kids, what fun!! Luckily Wade took home most of the kids so we could have our executive meeting without all the noise!! Jackie & I are both on the board...

Why do we as members of the church feel the need to be involved in every activity possible. Hmm I guess it keeps us busy and out of trouble!!
