Its a girl!

Ha! Ya right, not MY girl. I don't know how to get those ;)
This last weekend I threw a shower for my sis Natalie. She had Ava Rose about 4 months ago. But she lives in Seattle;( and she finally brought Ava to town to meet us. So we had a little party to celebrate.

I had all kinds of wonderful plans. Yummy salads, soft pretzels, delish cupcakes, pink banners, pink flowers, pink balloons, pink, pink, pink..... Well it all came together. And even though I changed out of my pajamas 15 MINUTES before the party. And dried my hair with a hair dryer to get the grease out of my non-showered hair.... This party was definitely a success.

Partly because Natalie came the afternoon before to help me finish the banner and stayed up late with me making cupcakes. And then cleaned my house while I baked all morning long.
And partly because Natalie's friend Amanda brought the games that we played. They were AWESOME. We played my ALL time favorite one, where you melt different kinds of candy bars in the diaper and then you have to guess which kind it is. H I L A R I O U S!!

The other game was totally fun. Amanda bought a bunch of baby paraphernalia and separated each thing {like a spoon, bib, toy, rattle....} into brown lunch sacks. You have to feel through the bag and try to figure out what is in each bag. It was way hard!! But so fun.

Amanda is also a very talented photographer and took all these pics. I'm so glad cause I got 2 and they did NOT turn out THIS good!!
I would like to announce that I have a 60 ft & 45 ft pink fabric banner as well as an "ITS A GIRL" banner FOR RENT. It is super cute as you can tell by these photo's. I haven't decided how much I will "rent" it out for. It might be money or it might even be "goods". Let me know what you've got!!!

If we end up having a girl, I will definitely rent the banner from you. So cute!

(Uh, by the way, Justin just informed me that you may not know that we are expecting a baby in Sept.)
