When I was growing up (I know I still am-but when I was little) this was one of our favorite
activities. Kara came down from school last weekend & we got together & made
donuts & watched North & South. It was a great movie (although pretty long) If you like Jane Austin, this is pretty similar.
Anyway here is
Kensie cutting out the
donuts.
Kensie is my youngest sister, she is counting down the days till she graduates from HS. See her pretty nails! She went to prom twice in the last two weeks!!
Still cutting out
donuts, is it bad that we quadrupled the recipe. Hey we wanted them to last at least one day!! The boys were in their PJ's waiting for the first batch to be done so they could go to bed. Kara is on the left. She is almost 21 & is going to school in Cedar City.
Poor Leslie got the
yucky job. Frying the
donuts. See her baby bump....she is due in Sept. & this time they
aren't finding out what it is.

that looks super fun.. and super yummy!! and no, I wouldn't guess the four of you are related, but that's how it is with my sister and I too.
I loved doing homemade donuts too! Man they look good! It's too bad pictures don't taste like they look. Ya, it's amazing how differnt you guys look from each other! Crazy how two parents can have such a mix of kids.
We used to make donuts when we were kids! I love them with powdered sugar. I'm excited for Kara to move up here this summer, and I hope she brings the donut recipe with her! You guys are way too cute! Congrats to Leslie! I think it's going to be a girl!
What a fun thing to do with sisters. I can see that you are similar looking to your sisters, but I wouldn't be able to pick them out of a crowd of strangers.
Wow you and Kara look alot alike to me, and I can't belive Kensie is that old I remember both her and kara as a baby! Gosh time sure flys especilly when your oldest will be 12 in a few months. Man time flys!
How fun, I do not think I have ever had a homemade donut before, but they look great.
I have never felt so left out! Just kidding...I guess...crap, I'm missing all the fun stuff!
