Christmas.

*Christmas eve we spent at Wades parents home. We had some great food. Neither the smoked turkey or the ham turned out great. Luckily everything else did. Afterwards we had a little program of Christmas stories. Then we had dessert and played Christmas Pictionary which the boys loved, and then Canes which is Spoons but played with candy canes.

*We made it home by 10:30. Unfortunately Santa's helpers didn't make it to bed before midnight. Something to do with the dang cozy coupe and Deirdre's lack of patience....

*We were lucky though, Jasper was the first one up and he let us sleep all the way to 6am! After that it was a mad rush to open toys and then play with them. Garvin's fav are the gravity bot transformers, he goes everywhere with them. Gavin is pretty much in love with his coupe (thank goodness since I almost threw it away trying to put it together) Jack and Jasper got RC car & boat. But by far love their new Wii.

*We left for Deirdre's parents at 9 and by 10ish were eating an awesome breakfast filled with everything that is delish for breakfast. Sadly no pics, it was all gone way to fast!! Mom made us a beautiful afghan to match our new front room, blue and white!! And the kids came away with a new game on manners (which they already played and think its super fun). We had time for a little snooze and then it was off the Wade's brother Eric's house.

*They were just recovering from opening presents so we spent the afternoon eating appetizers and helping to make dinner. The kids finally got a chance to play the Wii since there was no time at home. Eric and Kim always pull out all the stops and our dinner was to die for. Crab & Beef Tenderloin just to start!! After all that it was present time again. I am loving my new slippers which for some reason I have never owned before. And I got a super cute turtle which I will have to wait till summer to enjoy cause its dang cold outside. I made all my sister in laws purses so those were fun to give out. Wade and his sister Jen, decided we should have a white elephant gift exchange the best one was the one we got from my Dad cause we forgot one of the gifts as home. It is a camo visor with hair coming out the top (there is a pic of Wade wearing it below) Jasper got another funny one, he picked it because it was in the biggest box, but it was an Obama Calendar and Jasper was so mad!! It was too funny. What a great Christmas. Thanks to all those who brought us treats, we thoroughly enjoyed them. Thanks to all our family for your generous gifts.
