Last night was our first swim meet. They boys did great. Jack was in the backstroke relay, as well as individual freestyle and backstroke. He is more concerned about his form then winning and is still trying to figure out when to breathe.Jasper is a born competitor and just wants to win. (form out the window) He got first in freestyle and second in the backstroke (if you can call it that!!)
It was fun to watch and yell for the kids (although I'm not sure they can hear us when they are under the water)

Isn't it hillarious how differen each child is? My oldest granddaughter only wants first place, she wants to be perfect. Her sister was thrilled when she finally got a 4th place ribbon. She said, "Oh, look mom, now I have a ribbon in every color."
