Away with the paper napkins?

This morning I used the last of the huge box of napkins from Costco. In my mind I was thinking yuck another $10 on napkins. I hate buying useless things, but they seem like a necessity at the kitchen table with 4 kids.

Then later this morning I stumbled across this post from thelongthread.

Fabric napkins for kids, hmm. I have a TON of fabric. Probably not as cute as this stuff, but it would do the job. BUT I would have to make quite a few AND I would have to wash them. Maybe, just maybe I will do it.
