Sunday in Carlsbad

We got up early and headed to church. Wade got us there early so we took a couple of pics outside the church. We attended the same ward as last year. Last year when we attended, they had just lost a little 9yr old boy in a boating accident. His primary teacher just touched on it a little this year, but it always hits me hard. I love all the fun things we are able to do as a family- but you just never know when they will go wrong....

After church we headed back to camp for lunch. Then we headed to the Mormon Battalion in San Diego. Fortunatly we met Leslie and her friends the Winns there at the same time. The kids loved the Tour. It was super fun and creative. Panning for gold at the end was a winner as well!!







That evening, my sisters Kensie and Natalie arrived from Phx. Kensie brought her fiance Josh and Natalie brought her one yr old Ava.
