Pure Awesomeness

We had a great Presidents Day. We slept in till 7:30 (yes for us that is sleeping in!!) We packed a few bags and a lunch and headed to my parents house. Leslie, Jake & kids met us there. Kensie was home from school for the weekend and Kara took the day off. We let the kids play on the trampoline for a little while and then we all including my Mom headed to the park. The kids played on the swings and then the play structure while the adults chatted a little. Then we got a game of soccer going. Three adults and two kids on each team. Wow, do my soccer skills lack!! But it was a ton of fun. Mom watch all the little little kids so we could play- After an hour we were all pooped, we headed back home and had lunch and then headed for Flagstaff. In Flag we stopped at the first gas station we came to and bought a sled & tube and then we were off for the hills. We found a great spot (after a lot of driving-next time be more prepared with were we want to go!!) Got the kids all bundled up and then we were shooting down the mountain on our sleds. The boys had a blast, even Gavin who I was worried wouldn't. Garth didn't like it much at all, but he finally fell asleep. We sledded for a good couple hours, before it started to get dark and windy. We stopped for dinner in Flag and then were on our way home again. It was fun to spend time with Family and we had a great day!!
